The Beginning of a Fairytale: 25 Years of Geisha Designs

Founded in 2001 by designers Shalini Jaikaria and Paras Bairoliya, Geisha Designs began with a shared vision to create fashion that celebrates femininity, craftsmanship, and timeless elegance.

Having met at the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT), the duo brought together their complementary creative perspectives and passion for design to build a label of their own. What started in a humble atelier with just two tailors gradually evolved into a celebrated luxury fashion house.

Inspired by art, nature, and the beauty of intricate craftsmanship, Geisha Designs developed a distinctive aesthetic that blends traditional Indian influences with contemporary silhouettes. From romantic evening gowns to exquisite couture creations, every piece reflects a commitment to detail, individuality, and artistry.
